any suggestions? I don't care for overclocking...I've already got the cd-rom..floppy...ram...hard drive...also...I have a question...I got an e-machines recovery disk...can I use this for my os in my new comp?

No the recovery disk does not have the OS on it just drivers and stuff you will need to get a full or OEM version of the OS you want. also I would recomend getting a panaflow fan instead of sunson but looks good so far good luck

oh yeah..I already got monitor...it's a 17"...but I think I might use that tv-out function a lot...one more thing...where can I get the os? I don't want to pay a lot for a new os...

I think that is an excellent, low-cost setup.

My friend just received a PC with the K7VZA motherboard and a Duron-700. It's fast, stable and easy to setup and LOOK AT THAT PRICE! $95 for CPU and motherboard. :Q

And you've also picked my favorite "sweet spot" 3D card, the GF2 Pro.

ok...another question just popped into my mind...what about a hsf? I don't care for overclocking....so I guess anything is good...ok I think I just answered my own question...lol...

If you are going to run your Duron at 750MHz, then you don't need a fancy HSF...but you DO need active cooling, however. A passive heatsink is insufficient even for a lower-clocked Duron.
