P4 478 based ECS mobo w/audio built in
Celery 2.0 400mhz
512MB PC3200 (obviously not running at it)
Sapphire 9600XT 256MB
40GB SATA150
16x DVD+/-RW
6-1 Card Reader
Generic case w/300W PSU
Basically, my fiancee is coming to stay with me for a few months (she's currently living with her parents cross country), I've got my main box, plus a lappy, but it's an older Toshiba Portege 7200cte, nice for surfing, but I know she likes a few older games, so it won't work for that. Now and then we like playing TA or C&C or something else against each other, so I need something to handle basic 3D/DX9 stuff, which I know the 9600XT will be able to. No floppy needed, but I have a digicam we'll be using a lot so the card reader will be a bonus, as will the DVD burner (we both like downloading anime and burning it, this lets her do that without having to use my comp).
Any suggestions on other hardware? All of that set me back only about $350 w/shipping, nothing too horrible, and I've got a 19" display for it, although I may hook it up to my 36" HD monitor instead, dunno yet.
