Ok, I did a search and didn't see anything else on this so I just thought I'd mention it to let everyone know. First off, I'm in the Mid-Ohio region so I'm not sure how this will effect everyone else since Blockbuster doesn't (or at least didn't till yesterday) have a set price structure. Apparently, as of yesterday, all movies are now $2.99 for on night and then $1.49 for each additional day. :Q This is better if you only have the movie one day, but a week long rental is completely out of the question now.

Also, my friend and I both had free week long rental coupons and she doesn't have a member ship so she signed up last night. Apparently now new members need to initial a sheet of paper that says that if they don't return a video within ten days of renting it then Blockbuster is authorized to charge your account for the price of obtaining a new copy (which I'm sure would be more than actual retail price). Now, I signed up a long time ago, and I never signed anything that said that I authorized them to charge me if I hadn't retruned a movie within ten days. Basically what they're doing is illegal because they would have changed the terms of my contract without notifying me and without my acceptance.

Anyway, let the Blockbuster flaming begin... I for one am goign to keep using my free week coupons until they expire and then find someplace else to rent movies from. :disgust:
