The new Bjork CD came out yesterday. Anyone had a chance to hear it yet? I'm looking forward to this because with Bjork, you never know what you're going to get. I think she might out do herself this time; the music features very few instruments and is using human voices (beatboxing) to comprise the beats.

It's purely al-capella, and it's supposed to be either a really interesting or ultra hate CD. She has all these voice artist from all over the world doing vocals with her.

Every time I see Bjork's name, I think of Celebrity Jeopardy

"Even this little buzzer is music!" "Crash Boom Bang!"

Bjork was cool like 10 years ago......didn't even know she was still making music nowadays.

when i hear her name...all i can think of is that time she attacked that reporter for asking her how her day was, or something to that effect. she literally went apesh*t!

I've heard some Bjork covers but I don't think I've ever actually heard Bjork. Might have to check it out.

I love that video. How can you not like that sh*t? :D

I got the cd and really like it. It's out there, though. I think it would be better as a long ep than an lp.

Anyway, Bjork bjashers are idjots :p

bjork's one of my favorite artists. i will definetely be buying it. i think bjork is a good test of whether or not you are capable of appreciating music for music and not just the style and the beat. if you don't like bjork, it doesn't matter what you listen to, you're no better than the britney-lovers.

Seriously. She has a box set out called family tree. It has these two mini-cd's (out of five, total)with a string quartet backing her up. On "The Anchor Song" she hits this one note that's the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. She's the best.
