<< About using at your own risk: has anyone tried the RD1 BIOS Savior yet? Looks kind of neat. >>

I have been using the BIOS Savior for quite some time now, and think they are great. Mwave is where I purchase them.

Test new beta versions or different configurations for optimal performance!

With BIOS Savior, you can try a beta version BIOS, compare new and old version's BIOS performance, or even edit your own BIOS for optimum performance. If the settings or not optimal, or cause your system not to function, you can change the BIOS back with just a slide a switch. You can even play with three or more different kind of BIOS by stacking the BIOS Savior!

Well that was weird you posted after me and it ended up befor me, anways.

Which bois should I use? I've currently got the UL bois and my floppy doesn't work right so maybe a new bois will help me fix that, so should I get the WW bois or the WZ (beta)?

I installed the WZ on a new KT7 700 Duron at 900 1.65v and saw a big difference in the way I could set up the memory. Before I had to run the 256megs of PC133 at 100mhz or it would act flaky.
Afterwards I could not only run it at 133 but at the faster settings. I set it to

Normal for the DRAM timing, 2 way for the interleave, and 2 for the SDRAM cycle.

Since then I hav'nt touched it, so it remains to be seen if it could be tweaked more.

As it is my Sandra scores are ALU-397mb/s and FPU-476mb/s which to me doesn't seem all that shabby.
