You should be able to use a bootdisk or create one at bootdisk.com. I use an old win98 bootdisk. A second floppy is required for the bios flash program and update. You'll have to download it to a file such as "my documents" and probably unzip it. I use aladdin "stuff it" for all unzipping. Be sure your system boot order has the floppy first. After using the bootdisk, when it stops loading, you place your other floppy in and load the bios flash program that comes with the bios update. After loading the flash program, then you enter the bios file part number. You must copy the bios file exactly as it appears on the floppy. Punctuation and spacing are critical, or the file won't be recognized. After running the program, it will stop and tell you to reboot the system, or it will reboot automatically after finishing. Do not touch the keyboard while flashing is in progress. Leave it alone. If it doesn't finish loading, you could end up with a dead board that requires a new bios chip, available from the manufacturer. After rebooting, the new bios will be set at the default settings. You may have to change some settings for your system. Good luck.
