Well, new to me. 😛

Took a couple of minutes to get used to the riding position. Had to adjust a bit to make sure I wasn't putting too much weight on my hands. I do think some woodcraft rearsets will do this bike a world of good. And a sargent seat of course (the stock seat is hard as rock).

Am quite surprised at how refined it is for a carbed bike.

I had a D&D carbon exhaust on mine. It was loud and sounded beautiful. That bike is all you really need. I've owned zx9r, an 02 and 09 zx6r, 07 zx14 so I know bikes. That zzr is a good mix of power and size. It's fast but not too fast. You can nail it and even stay in it a little while without being at stupid high speeds. You can use a lot of that bikes power.

What I found interesting was that there's a decent amount of torque lower down the rev range. Not like a v-twin or anything, but certainly not as anaemic as I expected. I wonder if it feels like that cos of shorter gearing.

Two days of riding around, and it feels a lot more natural. Although I would like the pegs to be a little lower, and back. I can't imagine how someone taller than me would be comfortable on this thing.

Definitely want to get some risers.
