I saw this over at Warp2search this morning:

It has a new ide driver in it. I wonder if this may help with the NCQ and the recognition of Maxtor drives issues? I'm away from home (on travel for work with a crappy laptop) and trapped in the blizzard in the northeast, so I can't test them. I downloaded them, however, and the new ide version is 4.79 dated 12/07/04. Hopefully these help.
