New best time: 13.040@107.452mph

Well, I only got in 5 runs last night, cause two cars decided they would blow up and get oil all over the track, and an 8 second car went over the wall. But, regardless, here's my timeslips (in the correct order, this time).

First run
second run
Third run
Fourth run When the empty lane redlighted it really threw me off and I ended up completly blowing the launch on this run.
Fifth run

Aside from that messed up 4th run, you ca see my times improved all night, which is always more fun.

Hoping to hit 12's next time I go, should have the new driveshaft and differential in the car by then.

Wait a sec....I saw the pics of those 'street tires' 😉 aren't they more like 'street slicks' now? lol

and.....what new diff?

My traction-lok limited slip diff is wearing out, so I'm basically launching on one wheel. I ordered an Auburn Pro to replace it.

Better 60ft times (1.9) and a 107.45 mph 😀 Nice! Any new modifications/tuning to get the extra mph? I'm also looking forward to seeing what you can do with the new diff. Going to try different gearing?

I actually ran much better reaction times last time I was at the track ( a 0.558, 0.547, 0.569, and a couple .6xx and .7xx times) but I ran better ETs tonight.

I'm going to keep the 3.73 gearing that I'm using now w/ the new differential, it seems to be working pretty well.

What should the car be running? the general concensus seems to be that it should be capable of mid-high 12's

notfred, if you're running stock heads/cam, I don't think you'll hit mid-12s. I don't remember the full mod list for your car, so I can't make a complete judgement, however. If I may ask, what supercharger/boost level are you running, and are you using any type of inter/after-cooler? Fuel system mods? Shorty headers with or without cats? What intake/throttle body? Stock heads only have 1.7 intake 1.4 exhaust valves and with a stock (.444 lift, I think) cam, you can only get so much air in the chamber, even with boost.

notfred - you might want to check out pages 93-98 in this month's MM & FF. the one with the camaro and the cobra on the cover.

It's a Paxton SN-89 pushing about 6lbs of boost. The car's got motorsport shorty headers on it and the stock H-pipe. The car's also got 24lb injectors in it and a FMU to help wiht fuel pressure while the car's in boost. It dynoed 276rwhp/315rwtq

My guess is that you may get another couple of tenths out of it.. (and I think hitting 12s is very respectable for a supercharged Mustang with stock heads/cam) Are you planning on keeping the vehicle (quasi) smog-legal?
