I read everything I could find on these, some people have them in the states, but not much info is out there about them.

I need a new 2500 so if anyone has a AQZEA or knows where to get one let us know please!

I dont exceed 1.85 and I find that going from 1.75-1.85 only gets me a 1-2x more if I am lucky. Not worth the pennies performance to have the fan running like jets and the cpu running to close to overheating.

Still nice OC. Will wait till I see more on overclockers.

2.6GHZ with 2+v is nothing new and this one may be on air but what temps, load, length of time has it been tested at those setting? I'd consider the AQZEA stepping a winner anyways, if most the chips based on it can do 2.4ghz on 1.85v or less.

I agree, i didn't know if that was Vdimm 2.0v or what...

It's says at the start ( 1.65V ) Are they referring to the stock voltage or what?

I would have thought 1.45V

This chip does look like a winner!!

In the article they say that it ran up to 2310 MHz prime stable @ Stock voltage (1.65V - impressive) and then at 2510 MHz it ran Windows fine but not Prime stable at 1.95V so they upped the voltage to 2.05V, where it was stable at 2510 MHz. They then kept pushing it and found that at 2600MHz it was fully prime stable for over 18 hours!

I want to know what air cooling they were using that allowed them such high voltages without frying the damn chip!

Still, what an awesome chip!

That's what my old week 13 has been doing for months ;) Only on 1.632v actual under load :D

hi everyone...i just built a 2500+ system for my sister. i did it about 3 weeks ago, and got the chip from newegg. i figure it can't hurt to have a look at the chip and see what stepping it is. i was just wondering what to look for and where on the chip will i find it. will "AQZEA" or some other 5 letters be part of a longer code on the chip or something?

Yes, it will be on the cpu (black stixker box on the bottom of the cpu).

What are the chances of me reaching 2.3ghz at stock voltage if I were to snag a 2500+ from newegg in the near future?

Chances aren't real great unfortunately :( For every one of us that posts results of a 2500+@2.3ghz on default, there are probably 25 posters who's 2500+ won't. One of the other odd things I've notice about mine, and what some others our saying as well, is how quick they top out after being forced to raise the vcore. mine will do 2.31ghz on 1.632-1.648v *actual 24/7 silky smooth but to get 2.43ghz stable it takes the full 1.85v my SL-75MRN-L allows and that's 1.825-1.847v *actual. If I were looking for one right now I'd hope for at least 2.2ghz on default but be happy if it'll do 2.2-2.3ghz stable on any reasonable vcore.

* depends on how heavy the load is.

Have the same stepping - only installed last nite. Running at 1.675v at 2.134 on A7N8X dlx. Tried 2.20 required 1.7v. PC2100 now holding me back. will try upping the multiplier later. I thought this stepping was crap - maybe not.
