The extended preview indicates that a small group of humans will end up allying with the natives, contrary to my earlier hopes. I just feel like I've seen this theme too many times before and I don't care to see it again. Initially I was hoping that the paralyzed marine would end up obeying orders rather than going native. Now all I can hope for is a "twist" ending where the renegades and natives are wiped out or enslaved and the "evil" guys win.

Or they just unplug him from the alien body and laugh at him because he's paralyzed and helpless.

I can't get to the trailer...sez "this movie is private."

I originally wasn't too crazy about this movie. Looked too "cartoonish," but during last week's "Son's of Anarchy," they showed a trailer I hadn't seen before, and while it still looks too cartoonish, it might actually be a decent movie. (Cameron usually does a good job.)
I doubt I'll go to the theater to watch it...but will most likely rent it when it comes out. (I hope RedBox and the studios end their feud soon!)

Every time I see a link for this movie I always assume it's taking me to "Last Air Bender"... then I'm disappointed.

Actually... either could be huge flops. James Cameron's FernGully remake... or M. Night Shamamalamalong trying to make a film not based around a retarded twist (there probably will still be one and it will ruin the movie).

When I was describing this movie to my friend a while ago I said it looked like it was going to be Dances With Wolves...but with aliens.

When I saw the new south park episode last week I nearly shit myself laughing so hard.

I think the CG could definitely look a little more realistic and "raw". Everything looks too clean.

Regardless, this is a opening night viewing for me. Cameron bitches, recognize.

This movie looks amazing, can't wait to see it and I hope it does well. I think it may end up like the Abyss (Weak start, but eventual cult following) but it's Cameron and he has yet to completely disappoint anyone so I think the movie will work out either way.
