new audio codec?

is there some new audio codec out?
recent divx movies i've been getting try downloading some codec, fail, and then show the picture with no sound....
I think i've got most of the popular ones, i got things like MP3 decoder and stuff obviously, and all other divx movies have worked, its really rare...

anybody got any ideas?

Are they Xvid by any chance? I also had problems like this till I installed the newest tsunami pack with all the xvid codecs.. Seemed to clear everything up.
 
Go to K-Lite.tk and get their Kazaalite Codec pack. I believe it's up to version 1.6 now. It's a great, no frills codec pack for watching divx/xvid movies.
