Lousy rotten CL. You need these to use EAX with Doom3, but they aren't releasing the drivers for the Audigy1 cards even though they're perfectly capable.

Wonderful.

I spent big money on Audigy 1 Platinums. Now where are my drivers?

Eh? Where the heck is that?
Not released yet.

PS Andy, you haven't paid your Creative Tax(i.e. purchased a new Audigy) recently, so no drivers for you. Lousy rotten CL :|

Actually, if you take the installer apart by using winrar, you can install it on an original Audigy.

once you've extracted the contents of the file, navigate to the Drivers folder and run the setup.exe in there instead of using the one in the root.

enjoy.

the drivers wont install for me 🙁

i have a creative audigy 2 zs but the installer keeps sayiing that the hardware was not found. is it bcoz i bought it from dell ? maybe they dont install on dell machines?

i even tried installing directly as "Eaxfour" said and the installer worked but after installing the device manager still shows the device as "Creative Audigy Audio Processor (WDM)" :disgust:

groo,

it doesn't really matter what the device manager is reporting as long as the device itself is functioning properly.

i'm sure if you guys wait a few days, a set of "hacked" drivers will be posted by someone to the driverheaven forums, and you can use that on your old crappy Audigy1's. 😉
