Sexy Stuff ah? According to Audi, its good enough to compete with Godzilla. I don't know about that...but it looks nice as hell.

Really not a fan of the TT anything.

They are built on VW platforms and that just kills it for me.

Anyone spending TT RS money could just stretch it a little for an R8. I see one on my work all the time zooming down the other way and the jealous looks he gets from everyone is definitely worth the $100k alone.

NVM: thinking of the RS5 which is dangerously close to R8 pricing.

TT still reminds me of a VW though.

Funny how it's not even an Audi anymore. Look at all that sheet metal and stuff they had to tack onto it, and who knows what the suspension is out of, all things they had to do to severely modify the car because it couldn't perform the way it was built from the factory.

That's like calling a tube chassis, carbon body, nitro burning, 6 second funny car a "Mustang" because it has a Ford logo and a horse painted on the fake body.

The GT-R is a bone stock off the showroom floor with interior, AC, stereo, etc. Ok maybe they changed the tires *wank wank*

Lolz

I'd love to run into a R8 on the way to work. So far the closest thing I've run into was a A8 (?) that had a W12 emblem on the back that went zooming by and weaving between lanes. Dropped into WOT 2nd from 40, Nittos hooked, and stopped his fly by instantly before coasting down from 6500 RPM to the light that just turned red. He made a sudden unplanned right turn... sigh.

Looked it up on my X when I got to my destination, 500 HP at the flywheel and 4,000 lbs... I would have turned too if that were me. :awe:

Did the driver of the A8 have 20" arms? Maybe he was just turning on his way to the gym. Don't want to be late for that Tae Bo class.

Nah he tried to run the light, then slammed his brakes when he realized he was too late, then cut over sharply into the right lane 10 feet from the cross walk and made a right without stopping. He clearly did not want to be at that light or continue his previous direction.

Besides there was nothing but desert and ghetto in the direction he turned, no business or shopping location on that side street.

There are certain sounds in the world that make even random clueless people go "😵 omfg wtf was that...I'm outta here" without having to be a knowlegeble car person... 😉

The sound of a big turbo spooling, or a high boost Kenne Bell/Whipple whining at WOT to a douche bag like that, is similar to the effect that the sound of a pumping 12 ga has on a would be intruder.

I see R8's about once a week around here. Saw a C5 RS6 today on the drive to work in bumper to bumper traffic. Gorgeous car, I'd be afraid to drive it in bumper to bumper around here with how bad people drive though.

This dude was swerving his 4,000 lb barge around like it was a Miata. I'm sure I'll see it wrapped around a tree in a few months.

LOL so true. I see moron 17 year olds with AMG mercs/ BMW Ms and more recently Audi S models all over the place here. I remember I had some C63 full of douche persians try to race me in my GTI. When I said no they called me a pussy indian bitch and burned out at the light.

Also,

Dear VW,

Put that engine in the GTI, call it the GTI-R, throw in the haldex from the R-32, price it at 35k. Win.

That TT-RS would look badass if the sheetmetal was blended in better.. What I wouldn't give to drive that around Infineon.

I had a Haldex equiped car for four years and I cannot reccomend it. Went to Subaru mechanical AWD after that and the difference was night and day.

Do you have any other pictures of your Cobra? Just curious, I really like black Cobras.

I'll try. It's a daily driver and doesn't photograph well (rust on rotors, bugs on bumper between washes, etc).

Doesn't matter, I don't know much about cars besides basics specs and what I've learned from Forza games/Motortrend magazine 😀

Thanks.
