Rachel's mother changed her plans for her birthday to Saturday so she could go to this. We can't change it now.

Well damn. That leaves me, fenixgoon, mjussczak, EGGO, Rachel and coquito.

Decide amongst yourselves if you guys still want to do this thing... I have to leave soon to fly back to New Jersey. Someone leave a message on my cell phone letting me know what's going on.

I don't think moving it to Saturday is a good option though. EGGO and Rachel have shown a lot of interest in going, I don't want to do it when they can't go.

Hey, I'm excited, cause I'm a TRAIN freak and I get to take it from Newark to Philly and back again in the same day.

So I'm happy.

The negative is I get there at 8PM and the train home leaves at 12:15 AM. So by the time we're there and back I only have three hours.

mjuszczak, if you want i can see if you can stay at my apartment, that way you dont have to take the train and back in the same day.

mjuszczak, if you want i can see if you can stay at my apartment, that way you dont have to take the train and back in the same day.

Eh... if it was just me I would But with Erin, and knowing i never met you guys prior, she might not be 100% comfortable... although maybe she would... who knows. Play it by ear I guess.

UPDATE (IMPORTANT):

Mugs can't make it tonight. He is delayed in Atlanta. He thinks we should reschedule at this point. I agree. At this point without mugs, and if i didn't go, there would only be a few people going.

edit: well, if anyone wants to have an unofficial meet, im game.. i live in the city, so getting somewhere really isnt much of a problem

i think I'm going to pass with Erin and I. As much as I'd love to meet with you all, its a stressing time for me right now.... I'll let you know if we decide to come anyway, but I think we'll pass until the reschedule.

I like trains also. When I went to France, I was riding the TGV all over the place. I went from Paris to Bordeaux just for the ride. 186 mph in a train is very nice, and those trains cruise at that speed for long periods of time. Acela, on the other hand, rarely ever hits its top advertized speed of 150 mph.

Guys, I'm terribly sorry... especially to Coquito who bought bus tickets and is in philly right now. Fortunately he found some non-ATers down there to hang out with.

I don't think we should do it tomorrow.
1. Rachel rearranged her plans to be able to go on Friday, so now she can't go on Saturday. I think it would be wrong to do it when she's not able to go after she did that.
2. Coquito bought bus tickets and ended up in Philly by himself, and I think it'd be wrong to go when he can't go.

And frankly, I've had a hell of a week, and after the wedding tomorrow I'm just going to come home and crash.
