Well it looked like it was going to be a decent turnout, but then one guy dropped out, another got sick, I got stuck in Atlanta on my way back from Dallas, and from there everyone else just decided to give up. Except poor Coquito, who pretty much planned a whole day in Philly around this thing and then nobody showed up.

So it looks like we're going to reschedule. I don't know when. I HOPE everyone can make it next time, and if Coquito comes I'll be buying him a few drinks.

Edit:
I'm thinking probably a Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hopefully people aren't too busy those weeks.

This is a continuation of acemcmac's thread. Trying to coordinate things was getting to be a little difficult without the ability to edit the OP.

Based on people's responses in that thread, 11/17 or 11/18 are the best dates. Unfortunately there some people who can't make it on each of those days. Please vote in the polls above with the likelyhood that you'd make it each of those days.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions for where we could meet other than Dave & Buster's?

75% both days for me, there is a small chance that cheap airline tix will become available b/c a friend invited me last minute to Blue Man Group that weekend. Most likely not gonna happen though.
 
Thank you for continuing the idea of a meet. Though personally, it would be difficult to make it to this. I do hope that whatever video game costume mugs comes in, that someone takes a few good shots. 😛
 
I have not been to philly in decades.

I would be up for whichever date would have me driving in less traffic for the 100 miles each way trip.

I'm pretty sure I can't make it on the 17th, seeing as it's my mother's birthday (though if it turns out to be on that day I'll make every attempt to come for a tiny bit). So 25% (but probably less) on that one.

I don't see why the 18th wouldn't work out for me, it should work!
 
My mother is a travel agent and can do good deals for anyone who would like to fly to Philly. She is a travel agent in that area.

It's looking like Friday has a good lead... still need some suggestions for where to meet. Dave & Busters was suggested in the previous thread. Fenixgoon suggested a bowling alley.

When you NYC guys are there(where's the mystery van?), can someone pick me up a couple cases of Mad Elf on the way back? They don't distribute to NY.
 
Since the day is not sure yet, I have not decided if I am gonna go or not. But if someone wants to go but doesnt have transportation, they can ride with me. They would need to get themselves to in Northern NJ.

I smoke, but am prepared to open the windows and the sun roof or even pull over and get out of the car to do so... and will not listen to RAP music.
