more importantly:

"As for ATI Technologies ? everything is clear here: RADEON 9700 and 9500-series of graphics cards will be shown both by ATI itself and its partners. By the way, a well-known retailer from the USA will make a very interesting announcement together with ATI one of these days."

"There is only one company apart from NVIDIA, who can provide powerful and feature-rich solutions for gamers 🙂"

Well what do you guys think
Sound like Visiontek is teaming up with ATI?
btw i DO realize that some of visiontek wen to BFG but still visiontek is still a big name.

But...Visiontek isn't a retailer. It will probably turn out to be someplace like Circuit City. 🙂

Oh ya
Duh!
didn't even occur to me that visiontek wasn't a retailer.
Well the second post still says that ati might team up with visiontek.

so just disregard the first link and continue discussion

Visiontek doesnt exist anymore, so whoever it is its definitely not them. MadRat, I'm also curious what you mean by BestBuy has teamed up with nVidia. You can definitely purchase ATI products at BestBuy, so what does the partnership mean?

The Sunday ads lately seem to be pushing NVidia products in the BB pamplets. ATI has been pushed back and into low profile in the BB ads.

I would think CompUSA. Whenever I walk in there all I see is ATI cards etc (a huge stock)... I hardly see any Nvidia stuff, when I do it is very little stock if any.

Last time I went there for the PNY Ti4200 (a long time ago), they didn't have it, I waited for a few months, still nothing. Finally I bought one from newegg.

Yeah I say CompUSA.
