New ATI Control Panel problem

When I try to run it I get this "The Application failed to initalize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application"

And ideas. I'm using the 4.9 betas. Could be the cause?

People at Rage3D have use the new control panel with 4.9. Do you have .Net installed? There is also a .Net hotfix on Windows Update.

Yeah, you need to have .NET installed. I had the same error because I forgot to install it first. There's a link right on the same page as the ATi download.

PSA:

AFTER you install .Net, there is a FURTHER patch available from MS not incorporated into the original d/l
(at least it was the case a couple of days ago) 😉

it is 'buggy' until the .net patch is installed.
