Retarded names, I got tired of waiting and got Nvidia already. ATI is really disappointing right now.

LOL, just when I thought it couldnt get any more ridiculous. WTH was wrong with the x800's and x850's that we need the GTO's to replace them? I bet it's the same technology, just different name and clock speeds.

Or maybe, they dont want the older cards like the x850 competing with the newer value cards like the rv530, so they decided to cripple the older cards and release them under a new name. That's the only logical reason I can think of.
 
No, it's part of Ati's marketing scheme to confuse the public so they wouldn't know which card is better.
 
I wonder what they'll call that elusive 32-pipe monster that apparently is so rare they can't get enough RFID tags on the core to keep track of them 😛
