I've developed a new Athlon 64 OC Calculator that will hopefully end all questions on multipliers and how to reach a certain frequency...
Its based on A64 Winchesters and the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, so any suggestion regarding differences of other A64 CPUs/m/b platforms will be greatly appreciated.
OC Athlon 64 Calculator page

UPDATE: New version 1.22 is online

- Supports Optimal Memory Usage feature that enables better Overclocking and overall performance!!!

UPDATE: New version 1.21 is online

- Supports Half A64 CPU Multipliers (eg CPUx:8.5x, 9.5x etc) and calculates the real operating memory frequency for all combinations!!!

- Added support for 2x HyperTransport (HT) multiplier. (ONLY FOR THOSE THAT HAVE A WORKING 2x HT multiplier, S754 A64 owners mostly)

So let the downloads begin and send me your feedback...:)

Nice first post. :) This will come in handy when I start finding the limit of my Winchester. I'm using an Asus A8V, but the calculations should still apply.

It looks good.

I was REALLY confused until I figured out that the 3000 you have default under CPU was the target MHz and not the CPU model.

I plan to release a stand alone program, which will lack the graphical presentations (at least at the beginning) for those users that don't have MS Excel.

Thanx Concillian, i changed all the values to more random ones and made them bold

With this feature it much easier to find the optimal overclocking settings that will yield the best OVERALL performance of your Athlon 64 based system...

There is Open Office (it can handle .xls files) for those that are really anxious to OC A64s. I was really busy adding new features than developing the standalone. Sorry , a little bit more patience.

stop complaining about not having excel... this isnt the newbie forum, get excel from "somewhere" and deal.
