Question new asus z490f strix overclocking help

So finally it is up and running but before reinstalling windows. i need help. menu is all new to me. My first question is does it do factory overclocking on default settings? What till now i tried is change only dram to 4133mhz but it always crashing biso. what to do? i want to oc only ram and not cpu. what option to turn off or on? my c pu is I9 10900K and corsair lpx 16x2 gb 3600mhz

Have you tried enabling the XMP profile on the memory?

It almost for sure applies factory overclocking. I am not as used to the ASUS menus either, but enabling XMP and "Multicore Enhancement" are typically two options that lets the board do its own thing.

Typically I set the boost power levels and duration (sometimes they are set to unlimited/unlimited) even setting them to whatever your comfortable with the cooler handling (like 150W-200W) usually trims the top of the power consumption off but has little impact on real world performance.
