I build PC's for people from time to time, for whatever reason I haven't used an Asus MB in a good number of years. I must say I'm impressed with all this board has for the price. I generally don't stay on top of MB technologies outside of what chipsets are new. This is my first time encountering Express Gate, before yesterday I hadn't even heard of it. I thought my GF's Biostar with Memtest+ built in was cool. I was way more blown away with Express Gate though. It's Linux that works without a HD even, I was browsing the web to find out some info. When my box goes does from time to time this would be an incredibly useful feature for me to hop online and find a solution. I could technically just make a Live CD and boot to that I know, but this requires nothing.
Also the Q-Connect, dunno why it took me so long to see this! One of my biggest beefs is a lot of the cases I work with have power/reset/etc switches that are so short I really can't plug them in until the MB is mounted. And a lot of these times, the frustration level is high because it's hard as hell to reach everything and see what I'm doing at the same time. For these 2 feature I haven't seen on another manafacturers MB I think I'm going to start telling people I build PC's for to go with Asus. Makes me wonder though what is there I don't know about from other MB makers that I'm missing out on.
