I put together a system last night with a new ASUS A7V mother board and a CasEdge ATX case with a 230W power supply. Last night it posted fine and I got into the BIOS menu but this morning when I turn the power on, the fan runs for about 4 seconds and then nothing. Can anyone give me some advice?

I bet your power supply is screwy. Minimum for that processor and board is 250 watt, 300 watt if you got high draw components.

the only thing you can really do is swapping out components, start with a new poewr supply first, cuz if it was a component on the motherboard,, then you would have had a beep error

Go back over your jumpers (especially jen1) and the DIP switch settings if you are in jumper mode (recommended). If you don't have the CPU unlocked and the multiplier and voltage are off then it may refuse to boot.

How are you trying to turn it on? If you turn on power to the PSU it is quite normal for the PC to start up for 4 seconds or so then shut off... its a self test. Have you tried the power button on the front of the case? Also make sure the power button is on the CORRECT jumpers on the MB... that seems like the problem to me. But the 4 second power up is normal if your just turning on the PSU or a light switch that turns it on etc....
