Interesting little story on the opening of a new Apple Store in S.F.

After two weeks of same-sex couples lining up around the block to get married at City Hall, the city of San Francisco saw even bigger crowds on Saturday morning for the raucous grand opening of Apple's new downtown store.

Think there's a connection? Could we make the inferential leap and conclude that, with regards to market niche, homosexuals predominately prefer (Adams) Apples?

Has anyone any data to suggest that homosexuals prefer macs over pcs ?
There is clear evidence that subarus are mostly driven by homosexuals, that I know.
I don't know if mac wants the label of the homosexual computer though.
