Hey has anybody tried hooking up one of those new Apple keyboards (the wired USB one) to Windows Vista? If so how usuable is it? Are there homemade drivers that let you use all the keys?
I would guess though I don't know for sure that you wouldn't have any problems doing so. The difference between MAC and PC hardware is pretty minimal now that apple has migrated to Intel processors, is there any difference? Even before that the hardware standards on which keyboards are built are pretty simple and universal are they not?
I've read of all the buttons working in XP except the F13-16 (probably b/c PC's don't have those keys) but it might be possible to get the scan codes and remap the buttons.
Hi everyone, I'm keen on purchasing the new Mac keyboard for use with my office Windows computer. However I heard people mention that while most of the keys work, Print Screen doesnt. Can anyone confirm?
When you download those, you'll need to install the Boot Camp Control Panel in order to get things working with the keyboard. If you try to run just the executable for the keyboard it won't work.
