new AOpen AX4SPE max II just opened up today.
First problem is the new MB does not fit in my old case. A few inches to big and power supply is mounted vert. No bigiie i want a new one anyway. So 1st question is will the Sonata fit this MB? and does the Sonata come with the 4 pin Pentium 4 connector with its psu?
Second problem, was testing the MB with the basic componets ( 1 stick ddr3200 ram, 1 HD, P4 3.0E) and a new PSU (antec 430w truepower).
Well, nothing happened when i started it up. No fans on the cpu,psu etc. The standby LED did light up on the MB, but thats it.
So, the CPU is new, the ram is new, the MB and the PSU. Which one is bad, lol.
Psu seemd to work on another board, so unless its an issue with aopen/antec psu combo i think the psu is ok.
I dont know what to do next. I dont have another p4 rig to test anything on and dont want to send back everything. Advice?
