New AOL Commercial

So there I am, watching my most favorite picture box program, when all of a sudden a paid commercial advertisement comes on screen. Lo and behold, its for AOL. Now, normally I tune out when I see this, but this commercial actually had something to do with computers, or so I thought. So this baby starts hitting the mouse with the hammer white the parents are all "Woe is me, I can't find the on button!", and the baby starts up "AOL Computer Check," which then displays a progress bar and "All Problems Fixed." Number one, what in the heck does the computer check check? I was thinking like Norton/Ad-Aware mini-clone, but I have no idea. Does anyone know? Secondly, as a bonus riddle, How many bites could a comp check check if a comp check could check bytes?

It's the AOL uninstaller. He opens that and unstalling AOL fixes all your PC problems!
