OK, I used to read The Inquirer for my computer-related news but it's gone from brilliant (circa 2006) into a constant downward spiral with intrusive adverts and fewer articles by the decent writers who know what they're talking about. So... I think Anandtech is soon going to become my first bookmark for tech news. <goes to Opera speed dial and changes it now>

I don't know why I feel the need to rant about this on here but there you go. Hello everyone, you may (possibly) see me logging in for article comments more often now. :D

(There are also the Inquirer splinter groups semiaccurate.com and fudzilla.com but there's not such a proliferation of articles on each one since it's pretty much just one writer on each. Hmm, maybe I should make a mash-up page that syndicates them both :) )

Logging in for article comments? We don't comment on articles here.... hell, most of us don't even go to the homepage of anandtech, we come STRAIGHT to the forums

Oh, so it's THAT far off-topic in here. Thing is, there wasn't really a "general" category in the rest of the forum, so I posted here... :)

Well it's been a while since I posted here. When I first arrived there was a selection of only about 20 possible user icons. And I *used* to be a parrot.

[edit] Now I still am a parrot. Someone, in the last 6 years, stole my parrot.

Each article has a comments section at the bottom. Also if you look under the Hardware and Technology forums on the menu to the left there's a General Hardware forum. That's where most people post about anything non specific but still computer related. Yeah the this forum is more like 4chan only not as extreme ;)
