Well this working 70-80 hours a week has had one good side affect:

I've lost 15 lbs. :D

My current diet:

10:00am 1- Hotdog w/ mustard & ketchup + 1- 12oz Dr. Pepper

3:00pm 1- Hotdog w/ mustard & ketchup + 1- 12oz Dr. Pepper

Repeat daily....

*CAUTION*
Consult a physician before starting this, or any other diet. ;)

Your muscle mass is probably going away too, though.

Kinda defeats the purpose.

I'd be a lot less concerned with the weight I gained when I started working here if I hadn't lost the muscle mass as well.

None of what you are eating has any nutritional value at all. Ya might as well stop eating all together if thats the whole diet.

I buy 12pks at the store for $2.50 (that's onsale..).

8pk hotdogs: $0.99

8pk hotdog buns: $0.75

Ketchup and Mustard are negligible daily costs... The bottle of ketchup has lasted me for 4 wks. I've gone through 2 bottles of mustard. :)

Evermore, I believe there should have been a crunching or two in there.

EDIT: How the hell did my post get above Evermore's?! Do I have ESP or something?! Or is it just a forum glitch? :p

Amish...

Substitute water for the Dr Pepper and buy some fruit! Or at least drink Gatorade or Yoo Hoo instead. Might cost a few pennies more, but you will be better off nutritionally.

Hey, it's better than the "Total Devastation Diet", when you are so crushed by a guy/girl that you can't eat anything but Saltines and lemonade for 3 weeks...

Take care of yourself, you hear?

:)

I do drink water througout my night job, probably about 20oz...

I don't have time to take care of my self. I have to take care of everyone else.. :D

AHHHHhhh. Horrible diet! Please get some fruit, veggies and get a multivitamin. Make sure you drink alot of water too. 20oz. is not enough. Some where around ~65oz. a day is good for most people.

Actually, 20oz a day is a record for me. :)

It keeps me alive so I can continue to work and I can afford it. That's all I ask.

Amish---you sound like my hubby.
In college he lived exclusively on fast food and was severely underweight. Fatherhood cured him of that though! :p Now he's got more meat on him.

Isla's right, there's no diet more effective than a broken heart. No diet more unpleasant, either. I lost 10 pounds in sheer misery when my boyfriend and I broke up in university.
Of course, the joys of marriage and motherhood have made for that!:D

Hey Amish, at least throw some relish on that dog to hit on the vegetable side of things ;)

Here's what my daily lunch consists of:

2 sandwiches or one "lean" hotpocket
1 cup of pudding made w/ fat free milk
1 cup of applesauce

Total cost, around $1.75 per meal. That's pretty cheap, and not too terribly unhealthy.

As far as water goes, 20oz is just getting me warmed up :) I usually drink anywhere from 1-1.5 gallons a day :)

I have a 32oz cup that I fill up anywhere from 4-6 times a day. Yes, I pee a lot :D

No doubt about that, Elita1.

When I was in college, living on my own, I lived on sunflower seeds and ice cream. With that and hiking to and from school every day I was down to a 28" waist. After getting married I'm up to a 34-36, depending on the pants...

vi-

ewwwwww!!! Relish??

I'd put on some kraut, but it's too unwieldly to do here at work.

I could eat for 2 days on $1.75... :)

Amish, you really need to take care of yourself right now, or you will end up too weak to take care of those who need you. You have had a bad run of luck lately, at least take care of your body. Instead of those hot dogs, why don't you try buying a small pack of boneless chicken (you can get it on sale pretty cheap) some lettuce and salad dressing? Or even peanut butter and jelly has to be better for you.

You wrinkle your nose up to relish, but you don't have any problem with 'kraut?

Sick bastard :p

Sorry vi, maybe I've just had the wrong type of relish, but that sweet pickle crap just doesn't do anything for me.

GF-

I might try that salad thing. That doesn't sound too bad. I can probably get away with that for about the same price. Unfortunately it includes washing of dishes.... ;)

Don't worry about me. I run on willpower and adrenaline most of the time anyway (or maybe that's sugar and caffeine). :)
