We've got 3 options and all 3 suck.
Go figure.
I read elsewhere that this would only save at most $10B/yr. How about we either abolish medicare outright, or give it to none other than the poorest 8 million Americans? WTF is wrong with that?
What's wrong with allowing the market to reduce the cost of Health Care? What's wrong with raising the medicare age to 67 immediately, rather than waiting 7-14 years? What's wrong with making some damn sense with raising the medicare premiums and not allowing people to shift to medicaid? This latest joke from Lieberman and Coburn is not funny. They got me good, I'll give them that.
Why was I so excited when I read the headline in the news a few days ago, but then when I actually read the article I was pissed (yes, I actually was excited for the past few days since I read a headline a few days ago saying the mc age was going to be raised, but I should've known better, as I usually have the good sense to remain skeptical)?
