I'm new to using AMD chips and am confused on something I found. Every site but newegg has the AMD 64 X2 4400+ Toledo listed as 2 ghz FSB except newegg. Newegg has it listed at 1 ghz FSB. Are all the Toledo chips the same? I really want to purchase from newegg so I can keep things all budled togther but want to get the best chip at that price. Thanks in advance.

the x2s... and all the skt 939 a64s for that matter... have a 1 GHz full duplex bus... so technically it is 2 GHz, but either is correct

The "FSB" on A64s actually runs at full CPU clock and is integrated onto the CPU die. The HT link is an interconnect which allows the CPU's northbridge to link with the rest of the system. This runs at 1000MHz and is double-pumped (meaning that it transfer at both the rising and the falling edge of each clock) thus the 2000MHz rating that some people give it. It is also full duplex which means that it can upload and download at full speed simultaneously.
