New AMD roadmap

Anyone else drooling for SOI (Silicon On Insulator)? Finally looks like AMD is heading the right way, in regards to heat, and power consumption.
 
Being the conspiracy therorist that am I, how do we know that AMD is missing it's schedule. Maybe they are getting there hands on some of the newer intel chips that are supposed to come out soon and they are comparing them to what they(AMD) already have. And they like the results so they push back the release of thier new chips, which gives them more time to make them right.
