Never built an AMD computer before. The computers gonna be used mainly for internet and office programs. I'm probably gonna go with the 1600+ but was wondering what mobo I should get with it. I'm leaning towards the Albatron KX400+. If anyone has any input on a different mobo, that would be great. Also, the computer isnt gonna be used for gaming, unless you call minesweeper and solitaire "gaming." Wondering what video card you would recommend. Thinking bout ATI 7000. If you guys can also tell me where i can get good deals on monitors and cases. THanks!

Might wanna get an Nfoce mobo, has Geforce 2 graphics. I wouldn't recommend running 9X on this though. I put XP on one I just built and it runs fine. Also the 400 series just lets you run 2700 ram pretty much. Might as well go with 2100, especially for office use.

A7n266 is a good board, plus you get sound, Nic built in MoBo

NewEgg, Directron, GoogleGear, are where I Shop, fast shipping, and good products. If you really wanna get down and dirty, you might go to Pricewatch, and see what kinda deals you can get there.

vote number 2 for nforce
especially for your purpose it would do just fine

unless you want to get a shuttle pc
heres a link to whta it looks like http://www.qtronics.be/Product/System_pc/Shuttle-PC/body_shuttle-pc.html

but they are not amd based...

so nforce is best bet
either that or maybe a gigabyte board wtih onboard video (its matx board, just go to their website, look at list of boards and pretty much every matx board has onboard vid)
