New AMD Athlon CPU "B" Chips?

Are the new AMD Athlon Revision "B" CPU Core Chips being manufactured for the AMD Athlon 1700 and 1800 CPUs, or are these two CPU Chips in the first group of Athlons to contain the Revision "B" Chips Cores?

Do the AMD Athlon CPUs that are greater than 2000 already have the Revision "B" CPU Core?

Are the AMD Athlon 2700 and 2800 already the Revision "B" CPU Chips?

for your first question, the answer is yes,butit won't appear for quite some time.
for your second question, the answer is no.only the athlon xp 2400+ and above are rev.b
for your third question, the answer is yes.

I beleive the answer to your first question is no, not yes. (although your first question is so badly worded it took 3 reads before I got it)

Thoroughbred B = 2400 and higher.
They are now releasing Thoroughbred B cores at lower speeds - even down to 1700 (so Xbitlabs.com's rumour goes)
If this is the case then you can buy a 1700+ and technically (if it's unlocked) do exactly what you could with a 2800+

only time will tell 🙁
 
but it will take some time for the lower tbred b's to filter down thru retail stores, they probably would get rid of their tbred a chips before unless you specifically ask them(even then they may not agree)

Oh totally definately, but as far as I'm concerned there's nothing out at the moment worth me upgrading my computer at all (and I'm broke) so I'm more than happy to wait a while.

I figure it'll be 2-6 weeks before you can find em pretty easily, I've got that much time no problems - hell I'm so poor right now I might be wating 2-6 months 🙂

Ummmmmmm I still don't understand what you mean.
Revision B has been out for 3 months, it's just been rated from 2400 -> 2800+

These are the first 2 revision B's which are below 2400.
If you are asking "are these the first revision b's ever" no they are not - otherwise you might want to re-word your question.

sorry i didnt read your post, i assume it had already been answered above and just responded to AbRASiON's post 😱

the revision "b" cores have started with 2400+ and higher (so athlon xp2400+ and anything higher available now and later will be based on the "b" core)
they will soon trickle down to lower rated tbreds (as amd has discontinued production of the "a" core)

the first cpu to have the "b" core was the 2400+
