AMD needs to lower the prices for the desktop chips. $200 would be ok for the top model I guess. That one is the 8120 I think.
 
should be compatible with older boards (i was contemplating replacing my x6 on a 790fx with this but afaik it's not compatible).

AMD is screwed

People that build PCs usually do research....so they have to hope that "8 CORE" marketing will work in Dell/HP/etc sector...cause it's safe to say that even AMD enthusiasts will go for 1090T LONG before new CPUs.
