New Amazon scam email going out

got 2 of these this morning, as you can see the link they privide is a spoof,

I've been getting the ebay and paypal ones for the last few days, Theyr're acually getting pretty hard to tell thier fake. Except of course that they go to my email account that isn't associated with ebay.

idk its pretty obvious a lot of times. This one is trickier -
secure.amazon.com....

but theres no https:// just http://

As long as there are people who are ignorant of the basics of how the 'net works, these types of scams will flourish.......

exactly. just like with AOL Phishing back in the day, even when they had the warning on the IM window saying "AOL will never ask for your password" you still could get them so easily from numbnuts (probabl 50% of people) who didnt know better.

Even the ones that have correct spelling (at least they took the time to run a darn spell-check!), have terrible grammar and include statements that you'd never see from the real company..... yet there's plenty of people who still fall for it, otherwise the scammers wouldn't spend as much time trying.

Got an e-mail today (From Amazon) stating my LG-R500 order has been paid. Then I was to print out a address form.
Using mail washer I bounced it back to them so it looks like my e-mail address doesn't exist. BTW I never ordered anything from Amazon like LG-R500.
