XFX GeForce 8800 GTS / 640MB GDDR3 / SLI / PCI Express / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card
OCZ Dual Channel Titanium Alpha 2048MB PC8000 DDR2 1000MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB)
NEC Super Multi (AD-7170A) / 18x DVD±R Burn / 16x DVD±R Read / 8x DVD±RW / 8x DVD-R DL / 12x DVD-RAM / 48x32x CD-R/RW / Silver / OEM DVD Burner
Western Digital / Caviar SE16 / 500GB / 7200 / 16MB / SATA-300 / OEM / Hard Drive
Microsoft Windows XP Pro Edition OEM Version & Service Pack 2
***********************************
The only problem I had was with the power supply. The 8 pin power connector to the mb was not long enough to reach across the the HT Case so I had to go on line and find an extension. I also struggled a bit with the led screen hook up on the front of the Silverstone because I thought I knew more than the directions... well after I removed my head from you know where and hooked everything back up all was good.
I really did think that I would have more trouble with parts not working out of the box but I'm glad to say that there were no problems on that front.
I'm thinking now to beef up the HD but am a little confused with all the raid and mirror image business and much more study is needed. I am also going to add some additional video cards for an integrated home security video survalence and also want to do some LP to digital recording. I'm also searching for some entry level games and the appropriate HD DVD software so I can take advantage of my HD screens.
I'm not sure if there is anything I'm forgetting and would value your opinion because this is a work in progress and figure there no better place than this for that tiype of advice.
Thanks
HBomb
