Just signed up for ReturnBuy's affiliate program. I've purchased a bunch of stuff from these guys at great prices. I once returned something and it was no hassle. Thought I'd let you guys know that they just launched their aff program. We can earn 3% on all sales - not bad. And there's no max on computers like I have with some of my other affiliates. I think you can do really well with this one. Here's the link to the application:

Not really. People have had both good luck and bad luck with the company. I simply pointed out that Return Buy sells a lot of goods over at Ebay. Just passing the information on.

In regards to the other responses within the thread, there is a lot of suspicion that this thread will get locked. Why, you ask? Because it is linked to a site where one would sign up to get a "referral" or "affiliate" account with Return Buy. I don't think the moderators here are to cozy with referral programs. ;)

I don't understand the

. I will potentionally benefit monetarily from the information, even though it isn't a hot deal.

So I thanked him.

O.K. Time for a little eduction. We'll call the course Anandtech 101:

The lesson for today is going to be titled RTFM - or, for the sake of our underage readers, simply: "Read the rules."

Rules for posting in the Hot Deals Forum:

Post the hottest prices and deals you've found on the net in the AnandTech Hot Deals forum. Please stick to deals you've found, not items you are seeking. This is NOT a shopping service. No dealers and no SPAM (IE: multi-level marketing, pay-to-surf, pay-for-referral schemes or links to auctions) allowed! Please DO NOT POST COUPON NUMBERS or PROMOTIONAL CODES.

We'll then break the rules down a bit more and analyze them. Let's focus on the part "no SPAM (IE: multi-level marketing, pay-to-surf, pay-for-referral schemes." This posting clearly falls into the part where pay-for-referral schemes are in violating of the posting rules of this forum.

Now that, my friend, is the reason for the responses that we've received in regards to people cutting this deal down.

I don't think this post is as clear cut as you make it out to be. The poster is not benefiting from this posting as far as I can tell, because he/she is not linking to his affiliate code, and return buy is not a pay-for-referall scheme. (the 2 post count does makes it suspicious though)

Sorry if I wasn't supposed to put it up here....Thought it was along the lines of the offers I've seen. The link I put down just has info on the program. I don't personally get any money (or anything else) when anymore clicks and signs up. If it would make you feel better, go to ReturnBuy.com and click on "Affiliates" on the bottom right.

Regardless, I don't know a ton about the company, but I think ReturnBuy sells inspected Returns. I typically buy the like-new or unique stuff. From what I can tell they sell the same stuff on ebay - I think they just use it as another venue or something. Anyway, check them out if you want to - don't if you feel this is some type of spam...though I am really not seeing that.
