They just emailed that to me today (and not so strangely enough I also got one from Intel) haven't tried the AMD yet since I only have an older AMD running an old GeForce 980 and the only other running is just running Einstein GPU's (2 others are asleep)

After AMD Install Manager silently installed this driver update without any sort of notification to me, I started to have an issue where from a cold boot, my display would be stuck off/black screen. Had to power cycle the display/replug the cable to get it to come back. 10/10 repro, every cold boot.

After rolling back to 24.4.1 the issue stopped.

What GPU are you using?

And what are the rest of your system specs?

I have no issues with the drivers or performance, but would recommend using DDU on previous versions. I had installer issues. New version uninstalled the previous AMD chat and then it simply did not offer the option to re-install. The area of the UI was just blank. I did a DDU and every feature is now showing as available.

Lost all CPU monitoring from adrenaline control overlay

Also not sure if related but my wireless headset would only play sound in one ear. If I hardwire it it works fine.

Well I had another driver timeout when playing ETQW, and the game crashed. This was at stock settings for my card, around 3GHz core. If I turn down core clock a bit it seems fine.

Strange. You didn't encounter this on the previous drivers?

I see this on my side so think people are reporting that cpu temps are not there anymore.

For me its a non issue since I never use this to monitor processor temps.

all of my metrics are reporting just fine.

also, this video driver is now available for the AM4 G series. I have an R5 5600G in my HTPC and I am updating to this driver now.

Yes I had cpu OC options listed in the previous driver, along with metrics overlay. I don't think HWinfo64 and AMD overlays are issue free. I know afterburner can log all the metrics through HWinfo, but that was 2 extra services running.

May try a DDU reinstall and see, if not revert back to previous. I can wait for the FSR4 for RDNA 3 driver. Unless an Expedition 33 update is in a newer driver. Still have to purchase game though. Waiting for EA price to come down to EA levels. (Early Access)

EDIT: this may be the issue.
