We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.
The newegg ad - I like it. Get them to put their specials into rotation... it is one of the very few banners I would actually click - or purchase from. It would save me time too to have their stuff right here 😉
The newegg ones are great. Not distracting (as in, they don't flash / move / shake / etc), purely informational, and relevant. I feel bad for subscribers who don't get quick links to Newegg 😉 edit: (googlegear banners flash. flashy stuff gets ignored. newegg's links go directly to the product I see in the picture, whereas googlegear takes me to a category view of some sort).
Well we all subscribed or not subscribed for one reason or another.
I myself do not care for ads. But that ATI had that was showing made me go overboard. I hated it sooo much, I paid money to get rid of it... at least for myself 😛.
Dont know if I will do it again though. I find no difference in speed at my end... but the extra pm limit is nice.
