Just got a new Abit IP35 and would like to ask the forum for recommendations on which memory to use. Looking at 2GB DDR800; also looking at an Intel E2180. Totally new to Intel and may play around a bit with OC'ing. Thanks for the help.
Quality JEDEC 1.8V DDR2 667 is more than adequate for that 10x multi CPU. However, there is nothing wrong with 1.8V DDR2 800 if you're willing to spend more $.
Also check out MWAVE for the 1.8V DDR2 667. NewEgg may not be the lowest deal. MWAVE does not carry the Kingston N5 DDR2 800 RAMs. Also note that Kingston will also sell cheaper non-N5 DDR2 800 RAMs. These will often sell at a lower price. You can often identify non-N5 with the blue plastic container. If you cannot locate Kingston N5 DDR2 667 or 800 RAMs, then go with 1.8V DDR2 667 or 800 RAMs from Crucial.
