I emailed ASUS, because the system itself really is quite stable, but it gives an error about that at startup. I do not want to just let this go, because the fact that it is reporting 50% of the rpm speed disturbs me and I don't know what I could do about it. The speed of the Power FAN is reported around 900rpms, which I know is definitely false. I will do more advanced inspections of it later on, but any ideas are welcome. We have about a million different tools, of which I have used.
I put the CPU fan to run at its full rate, 4800rpm, and in the BIOS it said that it was 2500rpm. We have a motherboard to fall back on if ASUS says it is defective or something, but you can't comprehend how inconvenient that would be. Like I said, the system appears to run fine so i'm a bit puzzled. It appears to report the CPU temperature and case temperatures properly, too. Any ideas?
I bought this off of Newegg 2 days ago, and I am very happy with the motherboard's stability and performance. My attitude towards this is really "oh, thats a shame." I'm not upset at all
Edit: I just noticed seemingly random rebooting
