new A7V bios 1006

I have given up on A7V and bios updates. It it ain't broke don't fix it.
Tried 1004 (all versions) 1005 all versions and the A7V133 Bios 2A1 or something like that and it worked for a while but still had same 1005 features (and a few more that I could not use) so I backed down to good ole Juggernaut's 1003 hacked BIOS - this continues to tbe the best.
Curious though about 1006 and what it fixes for the Duron/A7V combo. Any takers?

I saw over at AMD Zone in the forum, some really bad reports about this BIOS. I will stick with 1005c until a later release. One guy did post that the new BIOS appears to support RAID 0+1 and 0, but this is unconfirmed.

yes, asus in all their wisdom has released another buggy bios for us to trouble shoot for them. i wonder what they are doing with their R&D money?

I figured this was another $hitty BIOS so I am not even going to bother reading about it. 1003e3 is here to stay.

hey guys just ordered a7v133 and was wondering if these drivers also apply to it?if so what are the best to use?i'm getting a t-bird 750 for it.

Kimber,
Stick with the BIOS for the A7V133, this is for the older A7V... From what I have read, the BIOS for the A7V133 offers more aggressive memory timing functions... Some users are flashing there older A7V's with the A7V133 BIOS, but it would be a step backwards for you to flash your newer board with a BIOS for an older board.
