It is not listed in AT's most recent AMD roadmap but it has been added to this month's A64 data sheet:

http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/white_papers_and_tech_docs/30430.pdf

ADA3200AEP5AP: 3200+, 2.0GHz, 1MB L2, stepping C0
ADA3200AEP5AR: 3200+, 2.0GHz, 1MB L2, stepping CG
ADA3200AEP4AX: 3200+, 2.2GHz, 512KB L2, stepping CG

Since the 3000+ didn't seem to lose much performance with the L2 decrease can we assume this new part will perform similarly to the 3400+?

I wonder if it will overclock well or any better than the 3000+ (assuming the PCI lock gets fixed on the MBs) . . .
It seems just about all the current a64s-3000+ can reach 3200+ speed except for their MBs limitations.

I guess we'll know pretty soon.

BTW, when is the NEW socket A-64s due?

CG adds support for 2T ram timings and now allows unmatched DIMMS in 2nd & 3rd slot. Also the Cool'n'Quiet has been tweaked, for desktop cpus CG use 22W at idle, while C0 use 35W, and the speed/voltage steps are changed.

Looks like May.

I might return my C0 chip to Fry's and try and pick up a CG if possible. I need to make another trip there anyways.

Are the CG chips out already? Is there a way to tell what stepping it is without actually installing it?
