Question New A620A Chipset by AMD?

Was browsing AMD website and found that they listed a new motherboard chipset (or a variant), called A620A

The last time this happened was with B550 and B550A

In that case B550A came first, and it was a rebadged X470, with B550 coming later and using a different chip, but offering slightly less lanes than B550A

Some leakers on twitter say that there is a variant of B550 chipset on AM5 under a different name, and it seems like it is actually A620A, as their specs pretty much line up.

info from amd.comUSB 5Gb/sUSB 10Gb/sUSB 20GB/sPCIe lanesSATA lanesChipset uplink
B550220PCIe 3.0, 10 lanesup to 6PCIe 3.0 x4
A620A220PCIe 3.0, 8 lanesup to 4unknown
A620220PCIe 3.0, 8 lanesup to 4PCIe 4.0 x4

So, Currently A620 uses a binned version of B650 chip, and to cut costs, A620A seems to be a binned version of B550.
This is clearly just a way to reuse older AM4 chipsets on new AM5 motherboards, as they're not that different in spec.

Yo, first appearance of it. It's a relabled B550 chipset, as predicted

edit: seems like WCCF refers to TechPowerUp as a source for this claim, which in fact refers to my post here. It's all a circle 😂. Even though I said that this is just my guess that A620A seems to be a binned B550. Doesn't really mean much, but it's funny

For those of us focused on gaming, that has potential. If it's like $60 or so, can handle EXPO 6000MTs and a 7800X3D, that'd be pretty cool.
