It's ok. Not really what I was hoping for or expected, but decent nonetheless. It just doesn't have the dynamic edge of Judith or 3 Libras...

Yeah, that is true. I could listen to Mer De Noms all the way through I liked that CD so much. I think that this really is just a bit of things to come, it shows a little bit of dynamics and I'm happy that they kept their overall sound the same. That and MJK's vocals rule all.

Are all the songs going to follow this trend? APC.org posted a sample from "Weak and Powerless" on their website last week.

Arg, the same thing happened to me except for the Minn. show. I clicked on it right at 12:00 when the tickets went on sale and they were already sold out. So afterwards, I drove over to Ticketmaster just to find out how fast they sold out and the lady told me, "Oh, I don't know, we made it through like 2 people so probably less than 4 minutes." I was pissed off.

That's what happened to me trying to get Tool tickets awhile back. Both bands are amazing live, but I enjoyed APC more. The new song is good, but I expect there to be some better songs on the new album. I can't wait :) All the members from the Smashing Pumpkins/Zwan/A Perfect Circle should just form a power group instead of mix and matching all the time....that is with the Maynard as the singer.

I saw APC a couple years ago in NJ, pretty good show. I enjoyed it although I never really got into or familiar with their music. I really like a couple Tool songs like Sober.

Too bad I can't listen to that song or any streaming media for that matter because I'm on my lousy 28.8 slo-dem.:p

Hmm. I just listened to it, and the one comment I can point out and say makes me a little sad is that I can hear a HUGE tool influence on it. While I am an avid tool fan, I have to say that APC was definitely nice, and impressive in my mind for having such a distinct sound while being a haupauge of bands. I like the track, just wished the style hadn't changed.

Of course, I'll still pick up the cd. One track is impossible to judge an album by. Also, as someone else said, go see them live, amazing show. Tool is indeed a bit better in concert. Best concert ever was Pumpkins/Tool in Montreal a few years back.
