New 939 boards on the horizon

I've about had it with my computer after battling with soundcards in my current setup. I'm considering getting a new board if Asus won't RMA my A8V. Is there any movement on the 939 front? I don't want PCIe / SLI, as I'm happy with my AGP card.

Only one I know of is the DFI s939 NF3 board that will be coming out an "indeterminate" time after they ship their NF4 boards.

Knowing DFI, this should be the epitome of a s939 AGP board.

I was wondering when DFI would release a 939 board. Are their NF4 boards coming out any time soon?

That would be about the earliest yea...original estimates for the NF4 boards was anytime between Feb & Apr. People are supposed to start getting some test samples here in a couple weeks though - so could be out by end of Jan.

Then absolutely no one knows when the NF3 agp ones will ship...some of their employees have never even seen pics of early versions of it so who knows if they are even working on it now! May have set it aside to push hard on getting the NF4 to market (since they were late on NF3's anyway) in order to get some share in the new SLI arena. It will be released though, they have already bought all the NF3 chips they will need to make them so its just a waiting game.
