New 7800GT

I was planning on ordering a 7800GT soon. I had a question about the drivers. I had heard that before hooking it up to your comp and installing the drivers, you should go to add/remove programs and delete your old drivers. Currently i had a Raedeon Xpress 200 gpu..(sucks i know). When deleting the driver from add/remove programs, are they talking about "ATI display driver"? Also, could i uninstall all the other ATI stuff(such as Catalyst Control Center and ATI Control Panel), or should i leave that there?

Finally, would a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104934 be enough to power this new card?

Since your switching to Nvidia, I would be thorough with the ATI uninstall. Messed up and old drivers can interfere and cause problems or low performance. Start at Add/Remove by removing the Control Panel and CC, then the Driver. Then the uninstall utility (called cat-uninstaller) is supposed to completely remove all ATI software. To be even more thorough, you could use Driver Cleaner to remove any last ATI entries, though I normally don't do that, since the cat-uninstaller was made to completely remove everything (I guess I trust it, 🙂).
