Found these two cards on Newegg:

BFG 16 pipe 370/1050 Mhz 6800GS AGP

$194.99!! Yes, standard is 16 pipes! A reviewer said they even called BFG to confirm.

XFX 400 Mhz 6800GS AGP

$215.00!!

The XFX one is very vague, no memory clock or pipelines listed at all. In fact it didn't come up when I did an AGP power search, had to use "all" for interface. I don't see it on XFX's website either, I wonder what the deal is? 400 Mhz is nice though.

I just ordered the BFG 6800 GS on the off-chance it had all the pipes unliked like it said in the description, before reading your post 🙂.

If it DOES have them unlocked (and i'll know in less then a week) then it's basically just a repackaged 6800 GT.

So which is it? 12 pipes or 16? If it's 16 that's a sweet deal... I've been waiting a year for the 6800GT to hit 200$...

It's possible that its both 12 and 16. According to the review the tech support guy said that it came with the pipes "unlocked"; that is, maybe, unlocked but not activated. So it might be 12 out of the box but 16 without much effort.
