yup

Rush is much better on Damavand, though. In Conquest it's mostly a giant clusterfuck in the tunnel (a wider Metro). In Rush that only comes at the end, after some cool prior phases.

Cluster Fuck. That's what I think of when I play Conquest. In Rush the goal is clear and once you sacrifice for that Mcom... (or drop mortars when someone else sacrificed) the Mcom stays yours.

Also, the battle lines are much clearer in Rush. If your the attacker and there is a player behind your lines it's usually because he's good but he still cannot spawn E's behind you. You can clear our these base rapers and they spawn back where they belong. If you are defending and the E is squad spawning in your base and can't be completely wiped out it's usually because they are great players trying to get that mcom. I can respect that but in Modern Warefare the maps seems like circles and E's were always in front and always behind, it was just run and gun till you stopped. I never felt any progression of mission at all and that's the way this new Battle Field 3 feels to me. Mind you I'm so new to the game I'm not even sure if I'm defense or offence half the time.

Actually, recon can drop a mobile spawn point behind you. It's nasty, if you don't find it right away.

Thing is, in Rush you have to win those last awful feet on foot. Conquest you can cap-cap-cap from inside your tank (or, if you're really good, even helicopter).

I would but rush only supports 32 players so half of the players would be kicked when switching from a conquest map to rush... Very well thought out on Dice's behalf.

I've seen 64 player rush servers. Not sure how that works though.

BC2 was brutal, the worst of the Battlefields I've played, and I've played them all since BF2 including BC1 on XBox. BF3 is awesome, not perfect (what game is?) but a welcome return to form for DICE.

I got bored of BC2 after ~20hrs or so which for an online FPS is short. After how easy it was to unlock everything, there was nothing to look forward to. Plus I wasn't a fan of the much smaller maps.

Yah apparently Dice has not enabled officially 64 players on rush, but some admins made it work.

Yes, i heard it's a bug and only works with one or two maps. So for now the server will stay conquest only. Come join us! Any feedback is appreciated.

Don't know what you're smoking but BC2 was one of the most fun games I've ever played with friends. If you pub'ed for 20 hours then quit, you didn't get the full "Battlefield Moment" experience. Sucks to be you!

I liked BC2 at first then slowly started to hate it. I play it but can only take so much. Definitely wouldn't say I'm a big fan. The spamming and abundance of general faggotry in that game is too much after a while. I loved BF2 for the open gameplay and countless times when something awesome/ridiculous happened involving shit blowing up.

I'd say BF3 is a mix of BF2 and BC2 gameplay wise, however, with much better weapon feel and effectiveness than either. I dig it.
